Lady of the Night

Tonight I was taking out the garbage and found this girl hanging out on the side of our house.

Yahoo Music Unlimited, Rhapsody, or iTunes?

Took the boys out for some bass fishing this afternoon. Took a while but we finally found em. G was trying to net the 2 lb'er while T was reeling it in. T was trying to pull the fish towards the net and G was chasing the fish with the net. Just and the net would get close, the fish would see it coming and dart away. T was holding on with all his might and G was bashing the rim of the net into the fish as it zigged and zagged. Poor bass was probably wondering why these two boys were giving it a beat down. I was rolling around in the boat laughing. The fish was finally over the net and next thing you know.... there were two kids, one fish, and a bunch of weeds on the deck. Too much fun.

Fishing is getting good now. Anybody want to go?

1. Shilah: Yeah, she's a crazy sheepdog for sure. When you shovel snow she jumps up and tries to catch the chunks, even the big ones that knock her down. She's not too smart, but it didn't sound like her.

2. Jenny: She's a sweetheart. No way she'd bother everyone like that. Shenzi's best friend. Her owner heard the barking all morning and confirmed Jenny was in all night.

3. Shenzi: Yeah, this hyena-dog mutt does some weird things...but she was locked in the house with us. She didn't even howl back at the dog outside, which was unusual.

4. Ozzie: He could be the one. Sounded like him, but he's never gone crazy like that before. He does come over to visit every day. Steals Shenzi's food in the kitchen too.

5. This golden lab is super friendly. He'll be your best friend the first time he meets you. Not likely the guilty one, but you never know. Kinda new to the neighborhood and lives on the next street over.

6. Mystery pooch. Never ventures too close, can be aloof. Newest member of the pack in the hood. A likely suspect.

7. Rocca (red Siberian Husky, not pictured): Definitely the Alpha of the group. With a hard look the hyena dog will turn and retreat. Never heard Rocca bark before.

Whichever dog it was, it kept the neighborhood up all morning. Everytime you'd hear the barking in front of the house, by the time you'd get out of bed to go yell at the dog, the barking would fade as it ran down the street....only to return in minutes...AARRRGGGHH!
